In collaboration with state and local officials, ETCOG has been selected as the primary organization responsible for planning and coordinating emergency 911 communications in East Texas. This encompasses partnering with the State to ensure comprehensive deployment of advanced 911 services for wireless callers, assisting in the planning of Next Generation 911, and managing the addressing services for cities and counties in East Texas as per contracted agreements. The 911 addressing data we possess is the precise information that emergency responders will receive in the event of an emergency. Unfortunately, in compliance with program regulations, certain addresses may need to be modified due to the sale of nearby properties and the subsequent creation of new 911 addresses. We fully understand that this may cause frustration and sincerely apologize for any inconveniences caused.
